Invisalign is a series of clear, custom-made aligners that are worn over your teeth. They gradually move your teeth into the desired position, via attachments which are little bumps that are placed on the teeth that help move the teeth into position. In most cases, you can improve your smile discretely (they are almost invisible to other people), without the need for braces – that don’t look as nice and are harder to keep clean.
Creating your new smile, begins with making a consultation appointment with our dentist, to discuss what you would like to achieve, as well as taking some records – digital scans and photos. This allows us to plan how we are going to achieve your new smile.
Once your aligners are ready and we place the ‘attachments’ on your teeth, we give you a series of aligners and advise you to change to a new set of aligners every 10-14 days.
